Zara moved to Woking a few years ago and loves the sense of community here. She became a labour activist because she wants to help the people in our society worst affected by austerity and be part of a strong local opposition. Zara believes we have a responsibility to challenge local problems like the lack of affordable housing, badly needed infrastructure investment and concerning spending by our Conservative/Lib Dem Council.
Zara currently works as a film producer in the Games industry and has previously worked as a Project Manager and a Human Rights Campaigner. She has a strong interest in gender politics and is proud to call herself a feminist.
